Yeah! It's done! -dances briefly- Ok. So. Where to start... Alright, so this was taken back during the beginning of Summer 2010 with
sleepycreator in Georgetown for a private shoot of my Riza Hawkeye cosplay (version 2.0 in some ways). Riza had been my first cosplay (back when I didn't trust myself with a sewing machine), but after a while, I decided to go back to it and change it up.
I re-dyed the wig and restyled it. I got a few different prop guns to add to her character (which I found thanks to my friend Jeff). And finally, I made a new shirt for her (in ONE day! Yeah!). First time I had done that (finishing something in one day) and it really gave me a good confidence boost in my sewing capabilities, lol. Actually, I finished it the day before the shoot, so that worked out pretty well! XD
Anyway, we did the shoot and had a blast. Then sometime later, I came across this picture again and decided to open it up in photoshop to see what skills I have retained. My goal was to create a war-like look to the picture and bring out that aspect of Riza's character (in that she did fight in Ishbal). To my surprise, I think it came out alright! Hope you like it! ^_^
