FMA: The Luckiest Girl

Before I say anything I must put up a disclaimer:

THIS WAS NOT A REAL WEDDING!!

Too many people have asked that >.> So yeah, had to put it up there.

Anyway, yes! First pic from Katsucon! This was from the cosplay and I did of an FMA Wedding for Edward Elric and Winry Rockbell. I'm so happy with how Ed came out. I honestly hadn't put on the whole outfit prior to the shoot, so I was very happy with the result. For Ed, I went with an all white outfit. I wore white pants, a white button up, and a white cummerbund. I was also happy with the fact that in this version of Ed I could FINALLY be taller than my Winry. Whoot growth spurt! XD

Special things I did for this outfit: Instead of having his hair in a braid, I left it down in a ponytail tied off in a thick white ribbon (thanks to my friend who put that in my hair, she was cosing Formal Izumi) ^_^. I also bought a white tail coat and sewed on silver trim on the back to make the symbol on Ed's red coat appear on this white one. The tie I wore was also special, as well as the matching handkerchief that I had. I bought it in Japan while at the Imperial Palace East Gardens. Both have the crest of the Imperial Family embroidered onto them subtly, which I liked wearing with the outfit as a tip of the hat to Japan for such a wonderful manga/anime series.

Despite it not being canon, I decided to wear the automail hand for the outfit too, just to make the whole cosplay be a bit more specifically a version of Ed. Winry and I also bought matching fake rings for the occasion as well (thankfully I didn't have to wear it on the automail hand haha).

Winry wore her ACTUAL wedding dress for this cosplay. So much thanks goes to her wonderful husband for telling her to go for it. (Honestly, he must have felt like the luckiest guy in the world when she walked down the aisle), it was an absolutely stunning site.

We were very fortunate to be able to get this shot too at the Gazebo. Those that had rented out the area allowed us to get a couple shots before we changed locations and for that we were very grateful.

This is an entry for the 's Atmosphere Cosplay Contest. The best thing about this photo? Nothing and I mean nothing here is photoshopped. Our amazing photographer caught this and gahhhhhh, I died when I saw it I was so happy.
